I was wondering where he has been, as well.  Irwin and Team Valor are usually pretty good about
announcing news of retirements...

The Ghost ran a great race! Came in 2nd - looks like he's ready for 2014. I never expect much from any horse
in the 1st or 2nd race following such a long layoff, but HTG hasn't lost a step...

Still feel bad about Rotten To The Core, by Orientate.  Poor guy suffered a fatal injury last
year at Aqueduct when he clipped heels and fell hitting his head.  Couldn't have been too proud
of his name...

OH-Bred Catlaunch, a 40-Time Winner, Retired

http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/81858/oh-bred-catlaunch-a-40-time-winner-retired

Congratulations to Catlaunch and his connections. Always grateful when they make it through unscathed - especially
at his age. I was lucky enough to see him race in person at Thistledown 5 times. Going to miss him on the track - just a tough old bird.
Wouldn't mind seeing him go to Old Friends, knowing that he would forever be taken care of, and have plenty of visitors
coming to see him...

Good job Catlaunch!

Glad she is staying with John. I hope we get to see a bit more of her on the track next year - and, of course,
I hope that she does well!

Beholder and Will Take Charge.

Yes.

Seems like it has to be these two.  I'm really impressed with Will Take Charge.  What a gutsy and courageous
horse, and I'm already looking forward to his 4yo season.

Considering his early season success, if Orb wound up blistering his opponents in the Cigar Mile, would he still have
a chance as 3yo Eclipse winner?
