Climbing aboard a horse over 53,000 times is mind boggling! Always knew the name, but didn't really start following him until Lost in the Fog.

Happy retirement to Russell. Seems like he'll be riding horses in his sleep for a long time...

   

Nice run by Tom's Ready. That was a fairly impressive job of slicing through traffic to get the lead. I felt a little bad for him in the Derby - but not today!

Really looking forward to this race. Must admit I have a soft spot for Lost Bus here - she's been racing well this year, but in over her
head against Beholder and Taris.  Going with Beholder for the win over Taris...

Seems like he's pretty much a forgotten horse. Has run three times this year with little fanfare - and limited success.
5th at Delaware Park (AOC) 7/2/14.

5th at Saratoga (AOC) 8/10/14.

3rd at Belmont (AOC) 9/13/14.

Looks like they are giving him every opportunity and he just hasn't responded yet...

Four days into the year, and it's already been a rough start.  Caixa Eletronica was surely one of the more fun horses to
follow - all heart and tough as nails. I feel very bad for his connections and for all of his fans. I'll miss him for sure...
