Well, it had been up in the air what Winstar was going to do with their promising 3 and 4 year old...and they decided to retire him.

I think he is close to the best son of War Pass.

He never won a G1 race like Java's War did in the Bluegrass Stakes, but he won the G3 Withers Stakes and the G2 Louisiana Derby and finished 3rd in the Kentucky Derby. At 4, he won the G2 Pimlico Special and placed in the G2 Oaklawn Handicap.   

Thus, not only did he have more graded stakes wins, but he also finished the best of any War Pass son in a Classic (also 5th in the Belmont Stakes.

Also, his $1.3 million in earnings are I believe the most of any War Pass son.

I think I am going to have to get a job a Winstar if I am ever going to see all the stallions they currently stand. LOL
