Both Penn and CT have called off their cards for tonight via Bloodhorse. They also note in the announcement that both cancelled their Feb 5 cards last year as well.

Who has the authority to call for a track cancellation?  Aqueduct has had so many this season that I'm curious.

Thanks.  They're running at 'the Duck' today.  It's like nine degrees out there.

Aqueduct is a no go for today- and it doesn't look much better for tomorrow- or the entire weekend. That whole meet is getting gutted.

That is very strange- there is an announcement on the NYRA.com as to the cancellation- cant miss it.

Yeah, that confused me.  The NYRA channel was running their usual feed with entries listed for today.  Then they switched to a feed from Meydan. 

I looked it up and you were correct.  'The Duck' is canceled today, And all these cancellations really has shredded their winter meet...how many cancellations does this make?

In the last 20 racing dates there were ,10 cancellations,so far!

No they are not.

Laurel has also called off the card for today.

Would not be surprised to see Penn and CT go that way as well for tonight's card- I know that Penn did cancel last night- not sure about CT.
