Shattered his right hand pastern.
After he proved subfertile, the owners suffered from the "he's standing there not making us millionaires " syndrome.

Battle of Midway was a much loved horse - he has foals and a colt was born early Sunday in Virginia - may they make daddy proud - I will miss this horse - so very very sad
May they run with the wind

Loved this horse.
