LOL, I got the trifecta. Poor Eagle, he finished well but just didn't get there.

Nicely done!
May they run with the wind

ElPrado

That's OK. I hit something trying to be meaty in R 5.

Man o Taz

Kudos to Bradester and his connections.

Effinex back to his inconsistent ways. That is a shame because I really hoped he would be more of a factor in the older male division and not just a spoiler of sorts.

2 G1s and 2 losses since his last G1 win.

We shall see if he can be more competitive in the Suburban next out.

They wanted to give him 6-8 weeks between races to keep him fit, but with the Suburban 3 weeks away that is obviously not the plan. With a last place finish he should be OK to race on short rest.

Should be interesting to see how Mubtaahij does.
"And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath upon it, and created the horse.... Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword. Oh, horse" - old Bedouin saying.

Maybe Effinex missed Mike Smith? I mean no disrespect to Gary, a Hall of Famer himself, but MIke seems to have a knack of jelling with his mounts.
