Could be a fun race.

Will a three year old be victorious like when To Honor and Serve or the stakes record holder Discreet Cat won the race?

Or, will an older horse like Stay Thirsty or Flat Out be standing in the winner's circle.

We'll see.

On Sunday Honor Code worked 4 furlongs at Belmont in 48.51 so he is tightening up.

Perhaps the Cigar Mile could be his next race.

Oh well. His work seemed sharper like he would be ready. I wonder what the next opportunity will be - an allowance or optional claiming?

I was hoping he might go in the G3 Fall Highweight Stakes which is 6 furlongs, but no nomination there either.

Stakes wise there isn't much left.

The Queens County December 13th
The Gravesend December 26th

Which suggests perhaps an allowance or optional claiming race as a prep for the Gravesend? Or maybe they'll just ship him to Florida and look for something down there.

Well, a bit of a crazy weekend. Ended up seeing Honor Code anyway.

What a race. On TVG they were saying this wasn't his distance...but his class certainly showed.

And he looked quite the picture.
