The rest of the runners are slow to start
Will any of them be who will prevail

   The speed fractions are extremely slow
          Nobody yet finding their best
             Blunny has taken over the lead
                  The rest not yet up to the test

They are at the top of the stretch
Blunny continues to lead
The rest of the runners so slow
Not finding any speed that they need

And down the stretch here they come
Blunny continues at the front

But suddenly the crowd on their feet
    All eyes are now looking back
     Someone is flying up the rail
         Definitely now on the attack

It's Bonita now sprouting wings
From last with speed on her mind
Passing one after another
But can she get there in time

The answer comes quickly we see
The Filly has flown past the rest
Waiting until the final furlong
To prove that she is the best 🏆
