6 Track Records...

It was quite an exciting day of racing.

Thunder Snow may be headed back to the US for a campaign which would be great. Hs besting West Coast was impressive in a new track record.

Mendelssohn delivered a very special performance. Some may balk at his competition, but he was pretty impressive and has already shipped well to compete in the BCJ Turf.

Mind Your Biscuits was nothing but amazing bucking the trend by winning far off the pace.

Wow.

"And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath upon it, and created the horse.... Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword. Oh, horse" - old Bedouin saying.

Mendelssohn ...I can't believe he isn't getting more attention. How many times have
you seen a horse win a GR 1 or GR 2 by 18 lengths? If you went back 20 years
you might get 5 imo. I hope the pundits keep talking about the bias and
the ship but he seems wayyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of everyone else

Bellamy Road won the Wood by 18 on his way to the Derby and 120  BSF

Mendelssohn  was very impressive in that race   106 BSF ( if I'm not mistaken )
call no man happy till he dies. ~SOLON~

That's one  :chickendance: :chickendance: :chickendance:

The other thing about Mendelssohn is he did ship and
win a grade 1 when he was two albeit on turf
He's like Catholic Boy except he wins!!!!

The track had a pretty strong speed bias, but that was still a phenom effort from Mendelssohn. Seems like they'll ship him over the week of the Derby. Depending on what happens in the reaming preps he looks to have a reasonable chance.
