Congrats to the winners. You all had an outstanding year. Kudos to the presenters, the writer and the graphics designer. You should all be up for Oscars. As others have said, Criminal Type and John Henry will be missed but remembered. To describe them, "All Class, All the Time".
One of these days I will understand "Ruff's Rules". The 12th of Never is that day.
Congratulations to all the winners of the annual awards, and a bittersweet farewell to John Henry and Criminal Type who left our merry group for match races with the greats of history. Great script, Miz Ruffian, and fabulous graphics, Tiger Dancer!

~~ ODE TO SPOT ~~
Felis Cattus, is your taxonomic nomenclature, an endothermic quadruped carnivorous by nature? Your visual, olfactory and auditory senses contribute to your hunting skills, and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations, a singular development of cat communications that obviates your basic hedonistic predilection for a rhythmic stroking of your fur, to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents; you would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance. And when not being utilized to aide in locomotion, it often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
O Spot, the complex levels of behavior you display connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array. And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend, I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

Wow, that was quite a ceremony! Props for all your efforts going into this... and especially considering the delays in posting it.
Congratulations to all the winners! I think I need to spend more time in the cathouse this year... all my favorites goodies and treats are there! :chickendance:
The Belmont and The Triple Crown have their trophies
The Kentucky Derby has a trophy
The Preakness has the Woodland Vase
The Breeders Cup has their trophies
The Eclipse Award has their trophies
But none are as special as the one I received in the mail today from our Founder, President, Sergent-At Arms and overall good egg Ruffian. It's specially engraved noting Stark as 2016 Horse Of The Year, how special is that!
I'll work on getting an actual picture taken and posted here, in the meantime it kinda looks like this except that it's made out of solid gold on top!....
Thanks very much Ruffian, it's my first trophy since Little League and that was a very long time ago!
I guess it doesn't hurt to tell Ruff once in a while that all her work and efforts are appreciated. That goes for the other administrators, Tiger Dancer and Dusty who help make this site go!

Well, so much for me thinking I was in possession of a one-and-only memento recognizing a significant accomplishment.
I have but one recommendation for RealQuiet and that is to keep those safe under lock and key until such time you or your heirs contact Sotheby's with regards to auctioning them off to the highest bidder.
