Now this is an interesting calculation because they are very close. Chrome has three G1s. He is a shoe in for me in the top three. His finish in the Classic also bolsters him. Now, one would think that Bayern also deserves to be there because of his Classic win. How do you choose between Shared Belief and Tonalist? Tonalist likely faced tougher horses out East than the elders that Shared Belief faced and he won the Belmont Stakes, but Shared Belief does have two wins against older horses - one at the Classic distance. Its a tough call.

As it stands now American Pharoah has to be the leader with his two G1 wins. I would love for him to come East to the Remsen, but the odds are he'll stay west and go for the Cash Call Futurity.

Daredevil is on the cusp...Carpe Diem's finish in the BC Juvenile to me gives him the edge over Daredevil.

Texas Red holds the third spot...BUT this could change if Daredevil were to compete in and win the Remsen.
