The Midweek Mayhem results
are brought to by Yuengling's

located in Pottsville PA

A small field of seven
made their way to the gate
In the attempt to deny Hemp
a repeat and a cheesesteak on his plate

Chalk Cheesesteak was the special of the day
and you had to search the menu for a winning way

Zippy and Blunny led the way early
when Ruff and Hemp jumped in with a win
Tiger Dancer Dusty and Digger started
chomping down and the group closely settled in

It was too much chalk on the bun for some
Ruff got lost searching the menu for the Rocky Mt. Oyster Steak
while Blunny and Hemp put their noses into their plates
and staged a Joey Chestnut worthy stretch drive

But it was the Hemp that had the hunger
in the final two races and make them all wonder
with the repeat safely secured

Blunny holds the place,
Zippy edges Digger for the show,
and the rest are off to The Horseshoe Curve National Park.
