taris is being pointed for a race against the boys this weekend, have they not decided which they want yet?
They were thinking about entering her in the Triple Bend on June 25th.  I would guess if they entered her here they must have chosen the Vanity.

Racing / Mshawish retired

He was retired Friday June 3rd after they found a slight soft tissue injury.  They said they wouldn't have time to get him back for a prep before the Breeders Cup and he was slated to retire in 2017.

The 2011 2 year old Chestnut Galileo colt as of last year was in training with Andre Fabre in France and named Auguste Rodin.
His named was changed to Rhett Butler.  He ran once in September but finished 10th of 11.
Rhett Butler

It is also noted that he was sold to Serbia on Pedigree Query, though who knows if that is true.

I like quite a few of these horses.  I won't be sad is Departing finally wins a G1, though I doubt it.

1 - Palace Malice
2 - Itsmyluckyday
3 - Will Take Charge
4 - Departing

Uncle Sigh....was to be entered in the Long Branch...
Most likely out for rest of year, after pulling a muscle in his back when cast in his stall.

Strong Mandate...nothing since his last race...
He was retired at the end of May.

The site used to have dual admins: Zenyatta and jjacks1. Is jjacks1 still here, too?
Zenyatta hasn't been active on the forum since February.
jjacks1 since November.

Mr. Speaker is working consistently.  He finished 5th on May 26th.  He is not nominated to either of the Turf Stakes races for 3yos at Belmont (the ungraded Manila or the G1 Belmont Derby).  Perhaps they are waiting for Saratoga?
He is in the Belmont Derby.

Ride On Curlin I would think would probably go to the Jim Dandy as a prep for the Travers Stakes. He got multiple races over the Oaklawn Park surface and improved each time. So getting him some familiarity with Saratoga Race Course could be beneficial.
He was getting 30 to 45 days off, not sure if that will give him enough time to make the Jim Dandy, especially if he is off the 45 days.

Mane Minister in 1991 was third in all races.

Hawkster in 1989 was fifth in all races.

You got it right!  Sorry I don't check here as often as I should.

Didn't a Chitu run in the Derby?
Yes he finished 9th.  He doesn't have any works since.

The following quote was from Pegram before the Derby.  I'm not sure if they are just giving him some time off, if he has an issue, or they aren't planning on racing him again until 4.

Quote"We thought ol' Midnight Hawk was gonna get us back here, but we'll just give him some time and let him become a good 4-year-old. It's the best thing for him. He's never run a bad race."
