Zen, what I am trying to say is; in my opinion, I don't support on the move of having four consecutive years of the Breeders' Cup World Championships in the same racetrack. Because it has no variety for horse racing fans and four consecutive years of the Breeders' Cup in the same location is just way too much for the horse racing fans. Imagine if we have the Breeders' Cup races to be run at Churchill Downs for four consecutive years between 2015 and 2018, many horse racing fans will get tired of it, and they think it's a lack of variety because these fans wanted the Breeders' Cup to be held in different racetracks every year. I want to ask Baroque, are there any other places beside the Santa Anita Autumn Meet that he prefers to choose for the Breeders' Cup in 2015?
It's pretty obvious that people were just taking your list and scratching out the tracks that don't have facilities capable of hosting right now. Just take your list and rearrange it in some random order, then. For 2015, I'd say just host it anywhere but Santa Anita so that it retains its legitimacy and doesn't turn into the SoCal regional championships.

In one of the comments below the DRF story on this breakdown, a fan noted that the horse had purportedly been non-competitive in 8 of his last 9 races (the only exception being an optional allowance), and wondered out loud why the horse was still being run at his age.

A gelding of 6 years?  Perhaps the qustion was rhetorical?  He was never what one would call a predictable horse - feast or famine.  I doubt Lo Presti would ever race an unsound horse.
He was actually still a stallion. And I agree, I don't see Lopresti racing an unsound horse. He gave him time off last year for bone bruising, and maybe this year he wasn't as competitive at the top level as he used to be, but I bet they were going to retire him soon. I don't think they would have dropped him too far down the ranks.

It was just a terrible accident. And about the comment on DRF, it kills me how people complain that horses are run too young (Turallure didn't start until he was 3, by the way), that they run them too old (Turallure was only 6), or they retire them too young to stud (they kept Turallure in training through age 6). The argument is adjusted using hindsight to suit each particular situation.

WinStar is having a fan appreciation day on Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Going to stop by on the way to Louisville since I haven't seen the new barn yet. Interested to see the new digs  :)

Emcee to Sequel Stallions in NY

Girolamo to Darley in KY

http://www.darleyamerica.com/news/press-release-october-30-2013

Emcee, a 5 year old with 8 starts. Not exactly the standard bearer for durability.

Darley is seriously playing musical stalls, sending Hard Spun to Japan, Any Given Saturday to PA, bringing Street Sense and Girolamo back to KY... and I'm sure I've left someone out.

He can hang out with Take Charge Indy, Bodemeister, and Gemologist and talk about the '12 Triple Crown trail.

There's a Hat Trick filly that just moved to Churchill Downs by the name of Kari Azaria who's running on Halloween. I hardly ever find people who spell my first name the same way, let alone horses!

"So it's Carrie.. with a C, right?"

NO, it's not with a C! It's K-A-R-I, dammit!

Darn - I was expecting to see Jackson Bend listed also - wonder what's going on?
I also read somewhere that Circular Quay is entered in one of the upcoming sales, but can't remember which one - I'll have to check...
He's hip 2425 at Keeneland November.

Another article on the Ramseys, this time detailing a bit more about Sarah and her condition that most others I've read:

Poor Gary, he's riding race 6 right now but got kicked in the stomach by his mount (Global View) right before he got a leg up in the paddock. Hope he's ok!

Edit: And of course he wins on Global View. Kicked in the stomach? No problem!

I just saw an ad for Smiling Tiger, which says he's standing at Premier Thoroughbreds in CA. However, the place appears to be called Premier Equine Center (a rehab place). They don't have a website with their stallions listed (only http://www.smilingtigerstallion.com/), but there are a few standing alongside him that I thought had disappeared!
