Another great day of horseracing featuring horses from all over the world was completed on
Saturday. Champions were crowned and titles secured. As a group over the two day event
we found 8 winning wagers, 4 by Digger and he needed them all to take the Breeders Cup
ROI event and the Gallivan Cup.  More on Glen Gallivan later. This portion was started by
Don Guido in 2012 and Digger gets his first Gallivan win.  Digger picked up win number 8
in our last contest of the year by cashing all four of his wagers and he saved them all for
day 2.  Those cashed tickets gave Dig a profit of $55.55 and the lone point spot. Congrats
on the win Digger and a pretty good year. Nicely played. Thanks to all who played this
season a little or a lot. It's still fun and I for one am looking for a better showing when we
start up again in three weeks. As AEAgain stated and I concur we can use a week's (2)
freshening. Following are the unofficial results pending an appeal. Please tap your hat
if your going to challenge the call. Two days and a few scratches so check your scores.
I just realized I will be away November 14th so I will restart the ROI for 2027 on
November 21st. Season updates to follow.

Just a heads up to Blunny. You used up your four races for the two days but only wagered $100. We are only doing races 6 to 10.

Dietrich was a detective on the Barney Miller show. Mr. Landesberg played Sgt. Arthur P. Dietrich, an intellectual detective with a quiet manner who seemed to have an unrivaled knowledge of practically any topic that arose, much to the bewilderment of his fellow detectives.

The ROI contest will be played at Keeneland on Friday and Saturday. The wagers follow whatever is offered at the days track. The wager limit for the two days is $200 and can be split over as many as 4 races. You can wager all on one race or bet 2-3-4 races. You may place multiple wager in each race, like a pick 4, win bet and a superfecta and it counts as 1 race out of the limit of 4.  ROI wagers Saturday can be made on races 4 through 12 with a post time of 1:10 PM EDT.  Good luck to Cruzan on a repeat and to Digger on a Breeders Cup repeat. Thanks to Ruff and Tigger too. Remember only 4 races in total and a $200 limit. Also the Gallivan Cup will go to the ROI winner to keep DonGuido's brainchild going. Last years winner was Joly B

Nicely played Digger

Keeneland on Saturday was our last week of the year before our Breeders Cup ROI finale
this Friday and Saturday. It wasn't a bad week as 6 players cashed tickets and three payout
spots were filled. Allydar took third place with an early win bet in race 3 on Mr. Tapps which
produced a profit on the day of $6.75.  Digger took second with a nice $100 bet on Bottas.
It gave Digger a profit of $71.00 on the day.  The Keeneland winner was Cruzan who
cashed a sweet $25 win ticket on Willy D's who paid $18.02 for each $2 ticket.  That payout
gave Cruzan a fairly easy win with a profit of $125. Congrats on the win Cruzan. Nicely
played. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. The Breeders Cup
races are Friday and Saturday and our stake will rise to a total of $200. As usual there
is a four race limit. You can play four races only but it can be split anyway you want.
All on Friday, all on Saturday or split the 4 bets up between the two days. To make it
easier on the scorer we will ONLY play Breeders Cup races. Going into our last contest
we have two players guaranteed to make a profit in 2026. Allydar and AEAgain  will
both finish the year profitable which over a years time is difficult to do so congrats to
both of them. The rest of us have a tough road toward a profit but stranger things have
happened. For reference Allydar has an ROI now of 15% and Alli is at 3%. The
difference is about $600 but Allydar has wagered quite a bit more.
