The Travers proved to be an exciting race and Leading Change proved to be an exciting horse.
A number of our group wagered on the Travers but no one could harness his potential. Only
three tickets were cashed elsewhere and only two players could show a profit. It was a battle
for the top spot with only $4+ separating the top two. Allydar hit on Virabhadrasana (I'm glad
I didn't call the race) in the 6th and got a nice $22.08 mutuel. The $176 profit was sweet but
not quite enough. Ruffian rocketed out of the starting gate in the first race and her $30 win
bet which paid $18.72 was good enough for a $180 profit and the Saratoga win. It's been
a tough year for Ruff but win number 3 was a good one. Congrats Ruff. Nicely played.
