Keeneland has also stated they want to get into the running for future Breeders' Cups, which likely was a factor in their conversion back to dirt.

I would hate to have them host a Breeders Cup because of how much they would likely have to destroy the landscape of the track and the atmosphere of what for me is the prettiest track in the US to install all the BC bells and whistles.

Keeneland for me resembles what a track in Ireland would look like.

The greenery and stone is iconic.

The accessibility is second to none.

The historic tenor of the track and grounds is preserved.

All of this would be destroyed by hosting a BC.
