tachyon posted on TBC and Paca Paca Farm tweeted he died on December 23rd from colic.

This is very, very sad.

One hopes you get them off the track and they are able to then enjoy their salad days on a farm.

This is so sad, at his young age. I was at Belmont that rainy day in 2009 when he wore down Quality Road in a truly epic stretch duel to win the Jockey Club Gold Cup, and win the "NY Triple Crown" (Belmont, Travers, JCGC).
