not to throw a fly in the ointment but Laurel has it best card of the year on Saturday the first 11 races are stakes races

Belmont has 11 races with a total of 94 runners prior to scratches that's 8.54 per race BUT three horses in the body of the race are MTO's so that means 91 will race prior to scratches 8.27
Breaking this down further 3 of the stakes races have field sizes of 6,5 & 6 that's only 17 runners

Laurel has 12 races with a total of 132 entered that's a 11.00 per race & all there stakes have a minimum of 8 entered per race
