Wow! Duarte is a few miles east of Arcadia, but there's a small community north of it called Bradbury with many horse properties. Kristin Mulhall lives up there last I heard.
Quite a few horse properties up in those hills above Santa Anita, including some that provide lay up and boarding services for Thoroughbreds from the track.
Fingers crossed - they said it moving into the forest away from homes and ranches - keeping a close eye out.
I used to live in El Monte, which isn't too far away.
Very scary time out here now - the smoke is everywhere - not sure they will race Thursday and if it does not get better = hope they don't
