Title: 6f races.
Post by: Raven on March 06, 2015, 05:52:41 PM
I've been betting races at Aqueduct since the sping of  74 and I don't think I'd ever seen that.
Last week Aqueduct carded 8 sprint races.
It was a week day and they only do 8 races on Thursday and Friday
I've never seen it in any other major track.
Have you?
I know that when Woodbine opens up they run 9to 10  5f races, but that's after being closed for over three months.

Maybe only the summit of speed at Calder... that's not just 6F races though. ??

With all the races that have been cancelled there this year it just may have been easier to put together a sprint card.

An interesting idea...

I'm sure there is some truth to this.  I didn't see the condition book to see what was originally carded for that date but there were probably a lot of 6f sub races and those were the races that filled.
