There are a number of organizations "coordinating" the so called dispersal of Hollywood Park - I regret to say that there is much disagreement at present and no definitve plan....

FOLKS GET OUT THERE - SEE the history for yourself before it is gone.

Who knows?  Was I the only one not particularly impressed by Honor Code yesterday? I think if New Years Day wins the Hollywood Futurity, the Eclipse is his. Two G1 over 1 G2 to me is a no-brainer.  And I'm an Honor Code fan, don't get me wrong, his Saratoga win was breathtaking. But since then he's been less so IMO.

She's a Tiger, despite the disqualification, displayed the most consistency over an otherwise mixed-up 2 year old filly group.

I agree on both.

As do I...What are the odds on that??

International Ceremony to Honor Wise Dan
Black Caviar and Treve, the joint top-rated horses in the 2013 Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings at 130, are to be recognized as such during the Longines World's Best Racehorse Ceremony at the gala dinner of the Longines Hong Kong International Races Dec. 6 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner and reigning U.S. Horse of the Year Wise Dan, the third-highest rated horse in the rankings at 129, also will be recognized at the ceremony. It marks the first year in which connections of the three highest-rated horses in the World's Best Racehorse Rankings will be honored at the gala dinner.
The World's Best Racehorse Rankings are compiled by the World Rankings Supervisory Committee and published by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities.
Rounding out the top 10 are Novellist (128); Toronado (126); and tied at 125 are Animal Kingdom  , Dawn Approach, Game On Dude, Mucho Macho Man, Olympic Glory, and Orfevre.

Lava's 3rd Hollywood Gold Cup ... I was right there with my nose on the finish line! Most exciting and historic race that I've ever witnessed in person!

I hit the trifecta on it too! Paid $185.90 ... Always loved Big Booster and this day ... he made this trifecta for me ... Damn near stole the win too!

I soooo wanted AP Xcellent to win this one....

I didn't ... But I'll tell you what ... AP Xcellent impressed the hell out of me and scared the hell out of me! I wanted history and his gutsy gutsy run all of the way through damn near denied it to me.

When they crossed the line in front of me, I really thought he'd gotten Lava.

I'm normally Xcellent at calling close finishes, but I missed that one and am/was very happy I did.

Your boy AP may not have gotten the win, but he certainly did you proud.  ;)

He sure ran his heart out - I so wanted it for Exceller
