Sat Keenland Race 11

I think this ones last race is better than it looked, especially when you consider

IT'S OFFICIAL HES A PRINTER
it was a speed favoring track. I'm willing to give him a mulligan and he has had
5 strong works since his last race. I liked his sire Stroll and his works at Keenland
have been excellent. My wallet and I, hope he runs well!!!!!!
Good Luck

Yes, and it will be  a long and painful one at that :-\

Dan looked beautiful. Za Approval looked terrible. That was an uncharacteristically bad run; hope he is ok.

I bet Za Approval (in CA) last race and also thought something was wrong with him. He
looked like Jack Nickolson in Cuckoo's Nest after he has the lobotomy.
He just doesn't seem right this year :(

But they have the Derby. They will live and die by it.
#967
did you see this? From DRF

The decision to skip the Derby has a significant impact in terms of the likely Derby field, since Albano was ranked 15th on the Derby points list with 34. His defection, combined with the withdrawal earlier this week of Toast of New York, helps horses who will end up on the bubble in terms of making the Derby field, which is capped at 20 runners.

No doubt California chrome is the rel deal, but there will be some
new variables in the Kentucky Derby. There is an old race track
saying when betting "if you didn't go to the wedding, don't go
to the funeral".

He'll be a force come derby day, that is for sure. The race was run a lot
different than I thought. I thought Candy Boy would be where Hopportunity was
and vise versa. Not that it would have made any difference in the end though.
I don't know maybe Gary was trying to have Candy Boy look em in the eye?
Great horse California Chrome, but until after the derby my
heart belongs to Wildcat Red :puppykisses:
Shaping up to be a heckuva race :chickendance:

Should be a good race. The more I read and watch California Chrome
it's hard not to like him, especially his connections. Can you imagine going to the
Derby with a superstar like Swaps and then 60 years later you get
to go back! That's like the circle of life, for horse racing. I hope Sherman's horse runs well
