Title: Thanksgiving weekend racing

There is kind of a lull for the next couple of weeks, followed by a big weekend of racing highlighted by Aqueduct cards and the Hollywood Turf Festival, which is not what it once was, but is still a solid series of turf stakes.

Nov. 28 (Turkey Day!!)
AQ- Fall Highweight H. G3
CD- Falls City H. G2
HOL- VO Underwood S. G3

Nov. 29 (Black Friday for those who dare)
AQ- Go For Wand H G2
CD- Clark H. G1
HOL- Citation H. G2

Nov. 30
AQ- Comely S G3
AQ- Demoiselle S. G2
AQ- Remsen S. G2
AQ- Cigar Mile G1
CD- KY Jockey Club G2
CD- Golden Rod G2
HOL- Generous S. G3
HOL- Miesque S. G3

Dec. 1
HOL- Hollywood Derby G1

Who said racing was over for the year after the BC? In a year when several Eclipse Awards are still up in the are, we're still seeing some of the good ones still going through the end of the year.  I like it.

The Remsen Stakes seemed slow, but I was impressed by the top two finishers particularly Cairo Prince who carried six pounds more than Honor Code.
