Vyjack's best turf finish was an allowance win at KEE. He's twice been 2nd in G3 turf stakes prior to this...
I think this is a perfect placement for Vyjack. Not graded company, and the distance should suit him well.
Vyjack looks like a short priced favorite likely to win, but if you want to spice up your exacta tickets, my choice would be the Drysdale comebacker POWER PED @ 12/1 who will be ridden by SGonzalez who I think will be kicking off a great meet!

IIRC, TVG got some quotes from the trainer(s) of Vyjack and Lt. Colonel, and they want to run the horses on dirt instead of the turf. ???
Vyjack has been doing better on turf lately than on dirt. Tell me they're not thinking of putting him in the San Diego.They are dreaming if that's the case.
