The folks on TVG just announced that Private Zone will not be allowed to run on Friday. His present trainer, Brian Lynch, is apparently in some sort of trouble with NY officials, and has had his training rights suspended/withdrawn. TVG didn't have any info about WHY Lynch has lost the right to enter horses, but it's a shame that Private Zone is the victim here of possible human malfeasance.
From DRF's David Grening:
Lynch tests positive for marijuana, forcing Private Zone to scratch from True North
Trainer Brian Lynch is ineligible to participate in New York racing for an undetermined period, according to the New York State Gaming Commission.

Portland Meadows and Arapahoe Park will both offer up appearance fees to the connections. Could be a bidding war, will watch for smoke signals as Indian Gaming may get involved too!
