Any chance there's a speed bias developing for their big day?
That is a good question. Watch the racing today to find out. With the track getting a little wet tomorrow afternoon, that could have the same impact as it did to the Churchill track making it lightning fast. Stranger things have happened than Gettysburg wiring the field.
Well, Kareena just won the 6-furlong Jersey Girl for 3yo fillies in 1:07 and change, apparently just 1/5 off the track record. So, yeah, the track is playing plenty fast. ;)
I have found that the track gets insanely fast on Belmont day, card is fantastic and should be a good day. 30% change of isolated/scattered Tstorms from 1-6pm(up to 50% at 4 and 5). The place is so big it can be raining on the backside and totally clear in front of the stands.
Iiiiiiiiiyyyyiiiityyyyyyiiii.
Exaggerator better make certain he is sitting in 4th no more than 8 lengths back at the top of the stretch.
We shall see if Kent can provide another Hall of Fame caliber ride like he did in the Preakness Stakes in the Belmont Stakes where he showed just how well he knew the track taking the rail.

While NYRA standing by the time of Jersey Girl, @TrakusRacing has more believable fractions of 22.30, 45.30 56.69 and 1:08.69
