4th race at Santa Anita tomorrow ... February 6th.

Having a tough time deciding between Fanny Brice and Small Moves ...

Fanny Brice closed really well last out, but ran out of course ... I made a mental note to play her next out, but they're cutting her back a half furlong ... so ... I dunno ...

Small Moves loves to race to the front and keep on going as fast as she can ... usually getting caught at the end ... but she ran her career best beyer last out and help on for the win ... That, coupled with a cutback of a half furlong has me leaning her way ...

So my choice is Small Moves because of the cutback and the fact that she just ran her best beyer ...

Cougarontheprowl "broke down" and was vanned off. I've seen worse, but it didn't look good ... fingers crossed for her.

He called Cougarontheprowl ... CRougarontheprowl ... And he called Peppy Bolly ... PReppy Bolly ... figures ...

Cougarontheprowl "broke down" and was vanned off. I've seen worse, but it didn't look good ... fingers crossed for her. 

It was only her 2nd career start.

It's official ... all over Twitter ... Cougarontheprowl broke down in her right front and was unfortunately euthanized.   

She was a Jim Rome pony. As far as I know, this was his first loss on the track. From Mizdirection and Shared Belief to this for him ... a microcosm of how quickly the highs can turn into lows in this sport we love.

I'm not a fan of Rome, the radio personality ... he bores me senseless ... But I feel he's good for the sport ... and I definitely feel for his loss and the pain this must bring. I've been through it with Miss Robyn ... it's excruciating.

Yeah ... She was gorgeous! Loved her color and she had a little white wisp in her tail. Looked really cool while she was running.
