I think it was pretty evident the distance was a little to far for Dortmund, so I figure he goes to The Preakness ... but not The Belmont.

Well ... hit the trifecta and my future bet on Pharoah ... plus it was an all SoCal trifecta ... so it was a very nice day!

Sometimes being a SoCal homer pays off! 

Although I'm not thrilled with Pharoah's post ... I've been set on the following as my order for the last 2 or 3 months ... so I'm sticking with it ...

I've been on Pharoah as the winner since last year and he's done nothing to disappoint, so I'm sticking with him. 

Still no work for JD.

For Coz, it seemed like a learning experience. He seemed to come out of it well.

I haven't seen the Beyer speed figure for Coz, but his Equibase speed figure seemed pretty OK for a debuter ... certainly better than it seemed visually.

Does anyone know what his Beyer was?

Don't know, but I've known this all along as I know Steve and have known his feelings all along ... but just was not at liberty to say ...

But now that Art has made the truth public, maybe people will start getting off of Steve's tip. (Not saying you Senator ... my barb is aimed at the general public)

Steve is the heart guy who cares about and loves the horse like his own son ... if it were up to him, Chrome's personal well being would always be first and foremost ...

Perry bases every decision on MONEY. He will always chase the dollar ... he is the ONLY Chrome connection who puts money first ...

And he's majority owner, so there is nothing everyone else can do.

Contrary to popular belief, Steve is the good guy in Chrome's ownership ...

I'd better not elaborate more.

(For those who don't know, Art made public in a Blood horse article that Perry is the majority owner making the calls essentially on his own ... glad to see that that finally got out. Kudos to Art for that!)
